O che bello/// What a beautiful sunset. I reminded me of the time I was in Hawaii with my bello, many years ago. We would sit on the beach, drink Mai Tais and admire the sunset every evening. Those were the days. Carrie

PS: You and your wife do make quite a handsome couple.

Thanks Carrie. The Sunset photo was taken on our first night at the Four Seasons Hotel on Wailea (sp?). The photo does not do justice to what was happening that evening. The scenario in the sky was changing from second to second with all different colors being added by the "Old Master Painter" in the sky. I took three photos then ceased, thinking that we would see this amazing pamarama each night. It never happen again.
(We stayed 5 nights.) I later talked to an attendant who has been working at the hotel for 6 years. To my amazement, he told me that he had never seen such a display of colors in the sky during his stay there. Mildred and I were extremely fortunate to see this grand display. BTW: One of the scenarios reminded me of "Il Ultimo Ponte" with dark colors on top, bright orange on the bottom and A "3-D" Gold color in the center. I said to Mildred, "There it is. The "Old Master Painter" is giving us a view of the other side. Sempre Avanti.

Hey Ivano Mio caro amico... beautiful photos. You are not going to believe this but my wife Suzanne and I together with our best friends will be leaving for Hawaii July 6th. Flying to L.A. and then to one of the islands boarding NCL (Norwegian Cruise Lines) for a 10 day around the islands... should be good. Sempre Avanti

Doriano: Thanks. You and your wife are going to love it. What I did every morning was to take a swim in the ocean. Nothing like salt-water theraphy to cure your physical ills. Don't miss this opportunity to do so. The water is just right for swiming, not too warm and not too Not like the Lakes in Canada or "Il Mare" su per la costa. Sempre Avanti. Ivano

Welcome back, Kap; great photos; we just got back from our trip too, and it's back to work on the train, starting tomorrow morning; I was supposed to be on jury duty all this week, but got pushed forward, day by day, and never had to serve, so now I'm good for another two years; heck, I'll be 75 by then; maybe they'll just give me a permanent pass, ha ha!!!

Regards from Elaine; please give our best wishes to Mildred.

Belle foto di Hawaii . Our old timers never had this luxury - we are fortunate to be the next generation.

Glad you both had a good time - you deserve the break.

Right the ocean is much different there then "su per la costa" No comparison!!
