Hey Ivano Mio Caro Furlan Amico "Happy Healthy Prosperous 2012" !
Furlan Experiences WOW ! I was just speaking to my Mother who will be 85 this year and all her Furlan Experiences. Well I am going to need a few days.. maybe a few months. The Experiences the Furlans experienced were similar to all other Italian Immigrants but the Furlans as you know Ivano were different than the other Italian Immigrants ..... due to their location in Italy required them to be on their own. Because as you know Furlans are so much more different in heritage and customs than say your typical Calabrese Immigrant they could not really relate.. But I want to make it certain for everyone out there to understand that the Furlans were friends with all the others. They did not place themselves above and beyond anyone else. As you know many Italians did not speak the correct grammatical Italian. The Northern Italians did and as I said many times before Furlan is one of 6 languages other than Italian spoken in Italy. Furlan has it's own spelling, grammatical terms and sentence structure. There numerous texts published to indicate this and also the University of Udine offers Furlan language as part of it's language curriculum classes.

Leave it with me and I will get you some information.

Ciao
